Using newspaper, Paperclay and acrylic paints, I have taken Gritty Jane’s Inner Child concept  a step further to express how I feel about meditation, silence and self retrospection.  I wanted these dolls to be childlike and simple yet be an artsy reminder to look inward once in a while, to take a minute every day to be quiet and just “BE”. They range from 7″ to 9.5″ tall. Concept by Gritty Jane Rumi “My soul is from elsewhere, I am sure of that, and I intend to end up there” The quieter you become… The more you are able to hear…

Why Why am I here? Written on the back is; To contribute To uplift To live your life to the fullest To encourage the downtrodden To help others Silence The “Silence” doll. This doll is in a somewhat meditative pose. An example of the quotes: “Silence is a fence around wisdom”. A German Proverb. There is the Chinese symbol for silence and peace drawn on the top of the head. I Am “I am what I am…that is part of my evolution. What you perceive me as…is part of your evolution”. Unknown Namaste Peace Mantra OM Shanti Shanti Shanti – Translation; “May well-being, peace, wholeness and tranquility, happiness and prosperity be achieved by all”.
